"...We decided that the original heads-up display simply did not cut the mustard of these fighter's standards.

We needed to rebuild.

Of course, we needed to keep that special Mann Co. je ne sais quoi that we were known for. So we vowed when we started the project that we would only use resources from the original heads-up display to keep that aesthetic and flavor intact.

And then I left them to it.

This summer, many drafts of this new project were made. Many were made and thrown out, and some had aspects that were preferable. Those aspects survived all the way to the final product. Those were the most fit. The product below is the fittest heads-up display we have made, and we sincerely hope you like it."

Hello everybody!

I'm having a trouble with the "HP" showed when I aim an ally... Look at the screens... The numbers, at my game, appears over the char, but "cutted"... I just can see the first 2 numbers (ex: the soldier has 157, so I can see just 15)....

I would like to put just like it is shown at the screenshots of the hud... I posted both images...

Can someone help me?

Also some of the buttons are mixed up with some others in the main menu.

I can't find the mute button for the life of me on this HUD, which is something I have to use often (unfortunately). I'm using a 4:3 resolution, is this the problem, or does the HUD just not have a mute button?

Nice HUD! Love the damage numbers.

While I do enjoy many aspects of this hud (Health, damage numbers, the main menu), there are a lot of technical issues about it. NOTE: My resolution is 1366 X 768.
For one, many of the buttons on the HUD aren't very easily visible, such as "vote" and "mute players" during matches. I suspect this is a glitch, because it seems quite unlikely that buttons such as "vote" are meant to be half-hidden underneath the Team Fortress 2 logo. Second comes my most important point, how a lot of the menu buttons that are visible don't function properly. For example, the "resume game" button doesn't do anything when clicked, and the "join another game" button sort of works, but after you click on one of the buttons that pops up after it (e.g competitive), you're left on a "join game" screen where none of the buttons function, making you have to force-quit TF2. If the "join another game" button was replaced with an "exit server" button, or something similar, it would probably fix the issue. In all, I think this HUD works very well in-game, but the menus really need de-bugging and slight re-arranging to make things like the "vote" button more visible, and make things like the "resume game" button actually function. An update to this HUD regarding some of these issues would be great.

Great HUD, but some of the menu text merges with their corresponding borders. Also, why is there still a Quickplay button?

I really like this HUD, in fact, it's the one I've been using for a few months now. It looks great, i can see everything, but there is one thing I'd like to see changed. The respawn timer. Whenever i'm in a casual or competitive game, i can almost never see when I will respawn, because the Kill Feed is over it. I'd say move the respawn timer to the bottom of the screen, rather than the top. Thanks!

It's pretty slick. My only issues are as follows. The main menu's a little blank, the map loading screen is just grey, it's harder to tell how much health or ubercharge you have at a glance, and the player list can be a little hard to read. Sometimes the class selection screen becomes mostly unresponsive, and things tend to clip with each other on lower resolutions.

The aesthetic is spot on, and I especially like the effect on your health while you're overhealed. The colors are easy on the eyes, and almost everything's nice and clean.

But other than that, I definitely suggest it. A solid 7/10, in my book.

The text is too big, that it doesn't fit my tastes of text.

A frozen 4/10, in North Pole.

meh. needs:
-better menus
-more death messages at once
-make the "white (which is brownish-gray)" actually white.
-fix font sizes in certain places like scoreboard

i love this hud and see it has so few downloads which is so sad

This is a really great hud font is a little big though but all in all it has a nice design going for it, really wish there were more huds like the Mannterface.

The team composition overlay on casual is a little big but other than that its great.

Could you add linux support?

Hello, I've recently installed this hud and I've noticed that my quickplay button isn't working (I can't play offline with bots), am I doing something wrong with the installation process or is the button temporarily broken?

Amazing HUD, I would say its a 9/10, what would make it a 10/10 would probably make the info box about weapons (when you spectate you can press F and look at the cosmetics and weapons thet the person you spectate), make the icons for the players of your team smaller (upper part of the HUD) and make some text a bit smaller here and there. If you could fix that I would rank it a very strong and solid 10/10!

@Grapevine Or valve was inspired by this. If it was, I agree, this hud is very pretty in most places. We need a fix update for this hud.

It doesn't work

As far as I know, this HUD doesn't work on Windows. A shame, this is a great HUD and I'm sure more people would use it if it did work on Windows!

I use windows yet it doesn't work for me, could you please fix this?
