try it in program files no x86 it worked for me here is the directory:C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf

There's a problem with the fonts, if the word is too long it would cut it and put "..." also there are random letters and numbers everywhere
The problems i found were in the main menu and the class menu. Is there a way to fix that?

well if your using matchmaking then valve servers have sv_pure 1. In a nutshell it means that the server only uses the files that come with the game.

I kept following up until the part about "Resources" and one other folder inside the HUD that is chosen, thats the part I wasnt sure about, any help?

really? Try this

go to your steam library and right-click "properties then go to "local files" and click "browse local files"

if done correctley you should find it.
